Since around 2016 many brands, including Ford, Vauxhall, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen Group and others, record services in an online system instead of stamping a paper book. The owner often cannot see it, and sellers sometimes say 'full service history' without being able to prove it.
We query manufacturer service records for the car's VIN, found from its registration, and list each recorded event with date, mileage, garage and the work done. Coverage depends on the manufacturer and on whether the garage recorded the visit.
Independent garages do not always upload to the manufacturer system. If no digital record shows, ask the seller for invoices. A gap is not proof of neglect, but it is a fair point to negotiate on.
The MOT preview is free. The full report, with dealer service records and the ex-taxi check, costs £7.99 per car.

Service records are available for most major manufacturers that keep digital service books. Coverage varies by brand and by whether the garage uploaded the visit.
The report says so plainly and still includes the taxi check. Records come from manufacturer systems, so services at independent garages may not appear.
From the official DVSA MOT history service, the same data GOV.UK uses.
If our system fails to produce a report you get a full refund. Email us with the registration and payment time.
